Mary Martinik has enjoyed a 40-year career in public physical education. Her many years of administration, teaching and coaching sports has resulted in numerous local and state recognitions. For the past several decades Mary has excelled in local, state and national play in tennis and softball.
Mary’s love and passion for Pickleball began in 2013. Today she competes successfully in Pickleball tournaments on a local, regional and national level. Mary is an PPR and IPTPA Level 2 certified Pickleball instructor.
Mary is a resident of Monroe, CT with her husband Jeff, has three grown children and enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren.
Frank Galasso is a lifelong tennis player, turned pickleball player, in 2017. Over the course of the past five years, Frank has participated in a number of CT State Pickleball Tournaments and has achieved Gold Medals in Men’s Singles and Mixed Doubles play. In September 2020, he received his instructor certification from the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) endorsed - Professional Pickleball Registry ( PPR ) - based in Hilton Head, SC. Recently he was awarded Professional Status Certification (Level 3) allowing Frank to teach at all rating levels, from beginner, intermediate, to advanced players.
Prior to his retirement in 2013, Frank spent a career as a Clinical Research Scientist where he consulted for a number of international biotechnology & pharmaceutical Companies.
Frank resides in Sherman, CT and plays and teaches in a number of venues in the tri-state area, Martha’s Vineyard and occasionally in the Ft. Myers/Naples Fl. corridor.
